This ECU clone programming service is designed for 2011–2015 Volvo vehicles equipped with the Denso ECU identifier 279700-9500. When a Volvo ECU fails, replacing it with a used or remanufactured unit requires transferring all vehicle-specific data from the original ECU. Without cloning, the replacement ECU will not communicate correctly with the vehicle’s security and control systems.
This service clones the internal data from your original ECU into a replacement unit that you provide, allowing the vehicle to operate exactly as it did before the failure.
We extract and copy all necessary data from your original Denso ECU and transfer it to a matching replacement ECU. This ensures full compatibility with the vehicle’s immobilizer system and onboard electronics. Once cloning is complete, the replacement ECU functions as a direct replacement with no additional programming or adaptation required.
This service is ideal when the original ECU is experiencing electrical failure, internal damage, or communication issues but can still be read for data extraction.
For this service to be successful, the replacement ECU must meet both of the following requirements:
The ECU identifier must be Denso 279700-9500
The part number must match exactly
ECUs with different identifiers or mismatched part numbers are not compatible and cannot be cloned using this service. If you are unsure about compatibility, contact us with your ECU part number before shipping.
This service supports the following Volvo models equipped with the Denso 279700-9500 ECU:
Volvo C70 (2011–2015)
Volvo S60 (2011–2015)
Volvo S80 (2011–2015)
Volvo V70 (2011–2015)
Volvo XC60 (2011–2015)
Volvo XC70 (2011–2015)
Volvo XC90 (2011–2015)
We are located in Texas and provide Volvo ECU cloning services for customers throughout Austin, San Antonio, Houston, Dallas–Fort Worth, and Central Texas. Nationwide mail-in service is available for customers outside Texas.
Purchase the ECU clone programming service and remove the ECU (PCM) from your vehicle. If you are supplying a donor ECU, include a matching part number replacement module in the shipment. If you do not have a donor ECU, we can assist in sourcing one for an additional fee.
Include a printed note with the following information:
First and last name
Contact phone number
Return shipping address
Vehicle year, model, and VIN
Package the ECU securely in a padded box and ship it to:

Once the ECU is cloned and returned, installation is straightforward. The replacement ECU will be recognized by the vehicle as the original unit, allowing the engine to start and run normally. No dealer programming or immobilizer adaptation is required.
Do the part numbers need to match?
Yes. The replacement ECU must have an identical part number and ECU identifier 279700-9500.
Will this retain my vehicle’s immobilizer data?
Yes. All necessary immobilizer and vehicle-specific data is transferred during cloning.
Is additional programming required after installation?
No. The cloned ECU is plug-and-play.
What if my ECU identifier is different?
This service is specific to Denso ECU identifier 279700-9500. Contact us with your part number to verify compatibility.
Do you service customers outside Texas?
Yes. This is a nationwide mail-in service, though we are based in Texas.
